TYLER, Texas — UTSA sophomore running back Sincere McCormick has been named a finalist for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, the Tyler Chamber and SPORTyler announced Wednesday.
McCormick joins wide receiver Jaelon Darden of North Texas, D'Eriq King of Miami (Fla.), Kellen Mond of Texas A&M and Kyle Trask (Florida) on the list of finalists for the award, which recognizes the top offensive player in college football with ties to the state of Texas. The winner will be announced at a virtual award banquet in Tyler in late January 2021. He is the first Roadrunner to land on the award's finalist list.
