SAN ANTONIO — Christian Wilson scored a career-high 29 points, but Marshall hit 18 3-pointers to register a 109-91 victory over UTSA on Saturday afternoon in the Convocation Center.
Wilson hit eight shots and a career-best 12 free throws to lead the Roadrunners (4-20, 2-9 C-USA), while Ryan Bowie hit four 3-pointers and totaled 26 points for his 11th game of at least 20 points this season. Phillip Jones added a season-high 12 points as UTSA, which scored a season-best 91 points, shot 42.5 percent.
Meanwhile, Jon Elmore went 7-of-12 from behind the arc on his way to 23 points to pace the Thundering Herd (12-12, 8-3 C-USA), who registered 30 assists.
