SAN ANTONIO – After averaging a double-double over a pair of games, UTSA senior guard Keaton Wallace has been named Conference USA Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
A product of Dallas' Richardson High School, Wallace had another historic weekend in leading UTSA to its eighth win in its last 10 games, as the Roadrunners split a home series vs. UAB. He averaged 21.5 points, 10 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game over the week.
In Friday's matchup with the Blazers, Wallace went for 21 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, with two assists.
