David Morgan II made history on Saturday afternoon when he became the first UTSA player to be selected in the NFL Draft.
The tight end was taken with the 13th pick in the sixth round of the draft by the Minnesota Vikings after spending his college days as one of the first members of UTSA’s new football program.
Morgan was at home with family and friends in Marble Falls when he received the call from the Vikings and found out he was headed to Minnesota.
