SAN ANTONIO — Guard Curran Scott scored seven of his team-high 22 points in the second overtime Thursday night, as the Charlotte 49ers held off the UTSA Roadrunners, 114-108.
In the Conference USA game played at Charlotte, the Roadrunners (5-24, 3-13) put forth one of their better efforts of the season but came up short.
The 49ers (11-17, 7-8) scored the first four points of the second OT and went on a 10-3 run to take a 112-105 lead with 32 seconds left.
A highlight for Charlotte during the streak came on a three-pointer by guard Jon Davis.
