RUSTON, La. – Freshman Kelsey Carpenter had a career-high nine kills to highlight UTSA volleyball's four-set win (20-25, 25-10, 25-19) at Louisiana Tech on Monday afternoon at the Thomas Assembly Center.
UTSA (5-9, 3-5 C-USA) bounced back after losing the first set to cruise by Louisiana Tech (1-15, 0-8 C-USA) in Ruston, completing the two-match sweep with a 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon.
The Roadrunners were led by a 13-kill, four-block performance from Jessica Langridge.
UTSA also got 10 kills and 15 digs from Kirby Smith, and an 10-kill effort from Alison Jennings, who also added four blocks.
