The UTEP football team prizes an offensive system that spreads the ball to numerous receivers, putting an emphasis on across-the-board depth.
That depth is easier to find when there are two big guns at the top, and for the first time in almost a decade, the Miners have that one-two punch in senior Justin Garrett and sophomore Jacob Cowing.
A year after combining for 996 receiving yards and 71 catches, Garrett and Cowing return production, but more than that, they bring a map for everyone to follow as UTEP searches for the depth it covets.
