The 6-1 UTEP women's basketball team faces rival New Mexico State at the Pan-Am Center in Las Cruces on Wednesday night.
Tip is set for 6 p.m. as the game makes up for the originally scheduled Dec. 1 game that was postponed because of UTEP's COVID outbreak. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and aired on 600 ESPN El Paso.

The Miners' oldest rival holds a 50-42 lead in the series, but UTEP is 18-8 in the last 26 games, including a five-game winning streak. UTEP won the first meeting this season, 76-61, in the Don Haskins Center, starting a stretch for the 3-4 Aggies where they have lost four of their last five games.
