UTEP women prepare for Western Kentucky Wochit
The one brick wall the UTEP women have slammed into every time they hit the road got them again in a 78-65 loss to Western Kentucky on Thursday night.
When the Miners play a quality opponent away from home, they kill themselves in the first quarter with a hole too big for their heart and tenacity to overcome.
To that they added half of the second quarter on this night as WKU ran off and left the Miners early, giving them enough space to hold off the inevitable, spirited UTEP charge that saw the Miners cut a 25-point deficit to five.
