FRISCO — The UTEP women's basketball team has managed to be an explosive group without one dominant explosive scorer, something that isn't easy to do.
Wednesday's 95-67 rout against Florida Atlantic in the first round of the Conference USA tournament showed the road map.
For the third time in program history, for the third time this season and for the second time this year against FAU, UTEP crested 90 points without having a single player go for more than 16. What the Miners did have was six players in double figures and 19 assists as they ran the Owls into the ground from the tip.
