UTEP running back Aaron Jones announced on Saturday morning that he will enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
Jones ended his UTEP career as the Miners’ all-time leading rusher after just three seasons, and leaves the school as a certified UTEP legend. He also owns the school’s single season rushing record, and becomes the first underclassmen to declare for the draft in modern UTEP football history.
He has hired Leigh Steinberg and Chris Cabbot as his agents to represent him through the process. According to Steinberg they feel Jones could hear his named called anywhere from the second-to-fourth round.
