A UTEP women's basketball team looking for some size at post and experience at guard got it in a trio of signings that have the Miners in line for seven newcomers and a 15-play roster next year.
On the first day of the signing period, UTEP added 6-foot junior college honorable-mention all-American Michelle Pruitt from Miami Dade College, Hutchinson Junior College guard Tia Bradshaw and her 6-0 teammate DeJaNae Roebuck.
These three join four freshmen signed in the early period and eight returnees to put a Miner team that finished last year with six healthy players at its full complement of 15 scholarships.
