Once again, the UTEP women enter a game coming off a loss as a heavy underdog, this time at home against defending Conference USA tournament champion Western Kentucky, which comes in with a 7-1 league record.
But this time feels a little different.
The Miners are coming off one of their best efforts of the year, a 63-60 loss to Marshall in which they had a chance to take the lead in the final four seconds, a game in which they led by 11 after their best first half of the year.
