UTEP women's basketball team loses on road at Marshall

The UTEP women's basketball team lost 60-48 on the road at Marshall on Sunday. It was the second time in the last five games, UTEP scored fewer than 50 points and it has lost three straight games.

UTEP struggled on offense for much of the game, shooting 32.8 percent from the field and it was 2 of 14 from 3-point range and missed five of 13 free throws.

The Miners fall to 13-10 overall and 5-8 in Conference USA, Marshall is 12-10 overall and 6-7 in conference play. The win ended a five-game losing streak for the Thundering Herd and gives them a 9-8 advantage over the Miners in the all-time series.
