A UTEP women's basketball team on a seven-game losing streak could really use a layup now, but that's not the way of it when they travel to 8-1 Arizona on Monday to kickoff off a Western road swing.
What they really need more than anything is a shot of confidence, a stretch of good play and that can come regardless of the opponent.
The Wildcats may be the best team UTEP will face this year, their spectacular sophomore guard Aari McDonald (25.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists) may be the best player they will face this year, but that's not really the focus when the Miners take the floor in Tucson.
