The El Paso Times uncovered the Jenzel Nash mystery as the suspended basketball star was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on Wednesday on two counts of conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
According to the Times, The U.S. Attorney's Office said that the seven people, including Nash, allegedly conspired to defraud 21 banks and credit unions nationwide by obtaining loans and lines of credit with false personal and income information.
Nash, a former Parade All-America coming out of high school and senior-to-be this season at UTEP was suspended in November, and played in an exhibition game but her status has been a mystery since then.
