The UTEP women's basketball team held off feisty Air Force, 93-85, in double overtime on Tuesday afternoon at the Don Haskins Center and will enter Conference USA play next week with plenty of momentum.
The Miners finished non-conference play with an 8-2 record. Air Force falls to 6-5 with the loss.
UTEP outscored Air Force, 12-4, in the second overtime period.
