Suddenly the UTEP women's basketball team is hot.
Still with seven players, the Miners won their second consecutive game - their first win streak since the first two games of the season - holding off Florida International 60-55 to sweep their Florida road trip.
UTEP took a seven-point lead into halftime, then never let the Panthers closer than three as they found a way to finish.
The Miners only committed two of their 17 turnovers in the final 6:59 and Neidy Ocuane made three-of-four free throws late to keep the Panthers more than a possession behind.
