The marquee game on UTEP's home schedule, the Miners' showdown with Boise State, has been moved up one day to Friday, Sept. 23 at the request of Conference USA.
No reason was given and a starting time has not been set, but presumably this is to accommodate a national television broadcast.
The game is one of six slated for the Sun Bowl and will be the fifth game of the season.
