The UTEP women's basketball team hits the biggest two weeks of its season balanced on a precipice.
The Miners are coming off two poor games, part of a road trip in which they went 0-4.
With the next four games all at home, all against teams in the bottom half of the Conference USA standings, with UTEP likely needing to win at least two of them to qualify for the league tournament, they need a turnaround now.
"We've got to play hard. It starts with that," coach Keitha Adams said of the upcoming stretch, which starts Thursday with a visit from North Texas.
