It only gets more difficult.
UTEP got off to a slopping-in-mud slow start Thursday night at Western Kentucky, rallied and almost forced overtime before falling 65-62 to the Hilltoppers. Saturday evening UTEP moves to Huntington, W. Va., to face Marshall — a team that leads Conference USA in scoring, a team that is 11-0 at home this season, a team that has won 21 of its last 23 (dating back to last season) home games.
UTEP will take on Marshall at 5 p.m. MST Saturday in the Cam Henderson Arena.
The Miners are now 5-14 on the season and 3-4 in Conference USA play after having their three-game win streak snapped Thursday in Bowling Green, Ky.
