The UTEP men's basketball team struggled offensively while falling behind Louisiana Tech 34-28 at halftime of Saturday's game at the Don Haskins Center.
The Miners trailed almost the entire half while shooting 8-of-22 from the field and turning the ball over 11 times. They stayed in the game by making 10-of-12 free throws.
UTEP's only lead was at 3-2 before an 8-2 Bulldog run gave them a lead they tended to the intermission.
Efe Odigie led UTEP with eight points while Bryson Williams had six.
