Hopes are high and expectations are floating up there, too, as UTEP prepares for its final golf tournament of the fall.
The Miner men will host the Prices Give em Five Invitational Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Butterfield Trail Golf Course. Air Force, Army, Marquette, New Mexico State, San Jose State, Seton Hall, Texas State, UT Rio Grande Valley, UTSA and Western New Mexico will join the Miners in the chase for a championship.
UTEP is soaring on the wings of two wins and a runner-up finish this fall and the Miners are hoping to close the fall with a flourish.
