The UTEP tennis team and the Miner softball team return home for Friday and Saturday action.
The Miner tennis team will host Angelo State at noon Friday and then take on the University of New Mexico at noon Saturday, with both matches being at the El Paso Tennis & Swim Club, 2510 N. St. Vrain St.
The UTEP softball team will host a three game Conference USA series — taking on UTSA in a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. Friday and then a single game beginning at noon Saturday.
The UTEP tennis team is 5-10 on the season and the young team led by first-year coach Ivan Fernandez is sparked by freshman Erandi Martinez.
