The UTEP men's basketball team's search for a veteran guard to complete its roster has apparently landed Daryl Edwards, a graduate transfer from LSU, sources close to the program confirmed.
A senior last year, Edwards played in nine games before sustaining a foot injury against Northwest Florida State and was able to recoup the year in a redshirt. The 6-foot-3 Fresno, California native averaged 4.4 points with a high of 12 points against Louisiana Tech, and averaged 6.8 points and 1.7 rebounds as a junior in 2017-18.
