UTEP romped past Louisiana College 88-54 Friday night in front of an announced crowd of 6,295 (and that included some season ticket holding no-shows who were probably home watching Washington and Michigan football teams stumble or perhaps just out two-stepping somewhere) in the Don Haskins Center Saturday night.
The Miners completely dominated the Division 3 visitors — just as they should dominate a Division 3 program. Louisiana College played hard and shot well early to keep it close for a few minutes.
