UTEP quarterbacks work to improve Bret Bloomquist, El Paso Times
As far as UTEP is concerned, the only controversy it has at quarterback is that the Miners lost Saturday in Lubbock.
With a week off before the Sept. 21 home game against Nevada, the depth chart at quarterback is the same as it's been for the last month: Brandon Jones is the starter and still the face of the program, Kai Locksley is the backup and Gavin Hardison is third.
The only noticeable change at practice Tuesday, the first since the 38-3 loss to Texas Tech and one of three practices this week, is that Hardison was getting a few more reps.
