A decision on suspended UTEP quarterback Kai Locksley will be made before the team leaves for training camp in Ruidoso, UTEP coach Dana Dimel says. Bret Bloomquist, Wochit
Quarterback Kai Locksley is back with the UTEP football team after a June parking lot altercation where, according to a complaint affidavit, he allegedly threatened to empty a handgun on people.
An hour after Friday's first practice of the fall, coach Dana Dimel announced the senior quarterback, who had been suspended since a June arrest on four charges, was back with the team.
“While we welcome Kai back to our football team, I want to make it very clear that he will have a list of expectations placed on him,” Dimel said.
