The Miner teams that open the indoor season Saturday in Lubbock at the Texas Tech Corky Classic will have a much different look than the women's team that finished fourth in Conference USA indoors last year and the men's team that finished sixth.
That means the meet in Lubbock will resemble Christmas, as Laaksonen and UTEP get to take a first look at all their new parts.
