After a one-year COVID-related hiatus, UTEP and New Mexico State will battle for the Silver Spade and the Brass Spitoon Friday night in Las Cruces, with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
Game coverage will be available online on the El Paso Times and Las Cruces Sun-News websites, starting a half hour before kickoff.
The Miners lead a series dating back to 1914 57-38-2, but the Aggies have won three straight and have a 21-19-1 edge in games in Las Cruces.
This is NMSU's first fall game, and their first game at Aggie Memorial Stadium, since beating UTEP to close the 2019 season.
