UTEP's final regular-season football game in a chaotic 2020 season has been moved to Friday, Dec. 11, in Midland, where the Miners will be a road team at North Texas in Denton.
The game is a reschedule from a postponed game on Oct. 31. North Texas declined to come to El Paso for that game because of the COVID-19 outbreak and offered to pay UTEP's way to Denton. The Miners declined.
Kickoff for Friday's game is set for 4 p.m. Mountain Time.
“We feel playing this game in Denton will give us the best opportunity to get back on the field and compete,” coach Dana Dimel said.
