UTEP's third attempt at a football restart did not go any better than the first two, as two hours before the Miners' scheduled first day of camp, it was called off.
The team was awaiting results of Thursday's COVID-19 tests and did not receive them in time for the 8:35 a.m. Saturday practice. The postponement, the third one since the original start date of Aug. 7, was announced at 6:08 a.m.
As of Saturday morning UTEP had not set a timeframe for its first practice.
