After three delays the Miners finally took the field and made it through seven practices, scheduling season-opening opponent along the way in Stephen F. Austin.

Hardison is the likely starter at QB
Dana Dimel has already pushed back his projection of identifying the Sept. 5 quarterback starter to game week — Monday, Aug. 30 — and has also stressed the need of having at least two quarterbacks ready because of the reality of shifting rosters in the age of COVID-19.
