The UTEP men's basketball team will try to defend the Miners' home floor against an Old Dominion team that defends everything everywhere.
With a 15-5 record (5-2 in Conference USA), the Monarchs are contending for a league title, and they are doing it with a dominant defense that leads the C-USA in scoring defense, field goal defense and defensive rebounding percentage and is second in scoring margin.
“Old Dominion is a very good team with some older players, some of the best older players in this league,” UTEP head coach Rodney Terry said.
