The UTEP men's basketball team's New Year's Day game with Middle Tennessee fell victim to the nationwide COVID surge.
The Saturday game has been postponed because of an outbreak in the fully vaccinated Blue Raider program. Conference USA has not yet announced when or if a makeup game will occur.
UTEP is still slated to open C-USA play Thursday at UAB with a 5:30 p.m. Mountain time tip.
