For 39 minutes and 59.5 seconds, the UTEP men's basketball team struggled to grab a rebound.
At the last gasp against Florida Atlantic, Alfred Hollins didn't even try to grab one. Instead, his tip of a Jamal Bieniemy miss went as the Miners' third offensive rebound of the night and doubled as a game winner in UTEP's 70-68 buzzer-beating victory at the Don Haskins Center.
The win was UTEP's fourth consecutive as the Miners improved to 12-8 overall and 5-3 in Conference USA. FAU fell to 11-9, 4-3.
A game where UTEP was outrebounded 34-19 was close throughout the second half and when the Miners forced a stop with the game tied at 68, they had a final chance to win.
