The UTEP men's basketball team has shown a propensity to struggle on offense throughout this season.
On Saturday night in their Conference USA home opener against UTSA, the Miners' offensive woes surfaced once again in the second half. After scoring 40 points in the first half, the Miners scored just 23 in the second half and fell 67-63 in front of 4,565 fans.
UTEP is now 5-8 overall on the season and 0-2 in Conference USA, while UTSA is 8-7 overall and 2-0 in Conference USA.
