New Mexico State beat UTEP 44-35 on Saturday at Aggie Memorial Stadium. Jason Groves, Las Cruces Sun-News
To start on a positive note, UTEP fought to the end in a 44-35 loss to New Mexico State.
They threw a touchdown pass on the last play of the game to finish with 557 yards, as always, they fought and never quit. That was true last year as well when they scored on a Hail Mary on the final offensive play of the season, a 39-7 loss to Southern Miss.
