UTEP sorts through quarterbacks again Bret Bloomquist, El Paso Times
For the first time this year, UTEP goes into a week not knowing who its starting quarterback will be Saturday against UTSA. A week of competition got off to a one-sided start Tuesday when Kai Locksley was absent with a sore throat that is going around the team.
That left Brandon Jones taking all the first-team reps, but coach Dana Dimel said he'll evaluate Wednesday and Thursday practices to make a decision on who plays first Saturday.
