UTEP grad finishes 11th in women's Olympic golf

UPDATE: UTEP alum Gerina Piller shot a 3-over-par 74 on Saturday to finish tied for 11th place in women's Olympic golf.

She finished the four rounds at 278, 6 under par at the Olympic Golf Course in Rio de Janeiro. Piller had entered the final round tied for second place.

Piller was 10 strokes behind gold medalist Inbee Park of South Korea. Lydia Ko of New Zealand won the silver medal, five shots behind Park at 273. Shanshan Feng of China took bronze at 274.

Stacy Lewis was the top U.S. finisher, shooting 275 for fourth place.
