With four days still left, the UTEP track team has had a remarkable spring.
The season can get bigger still this week in Eugene, Ore. when eight Miners and four other El Pasoans compete at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
To whit, 100-meter hurdler Tobi Amusan and 800 runner Emmanuel Koech will try to validate their amazing seasons with national championships while the rest of the Miners vie to score points and get on the podium.
"This is the biggest team we've taken there in a while," UTEP coach Mika Laaksonen said.
