The UTEP football team is familiar with unfortunate milestones, but they are in the midst of one almost entirely unforeseen.
As they go through a fourth unscheduled bye in a six-week stretch, the Miners are hoping for a sixth consecutive road game at Rice on Nov. 28.

At the moment, only three other teams in college football have played five road games.
