Dana Dimel's assessment of UTEP after two games Wochit, Wochit
The first two games of UTEP’s football season were supposed to be a tale of good and not good, and that’s how matters unfolded, though perhaps not exactly as projected.
Grading the Miners, the offense earned an A in the win over Houston Baptist, an F against Texas Tech.
The defense started with a D against HBU, then got a B against Tech.
That leaves UTEP squarely at a 2.0 grade-point, which is what 1-1 indicates.
