UTEP's pipeline from Kansas State is yielding another senior graduate transfer: quarterback Alex Delton.
Delton, who had six starts and 20 appearances in three years, including an MVP performance in the 2016 Cactus Bowl, tweeted his decision Thursday night: "Excited to announce I’ll be joining @CoachDimelUTEP and the UTEP Miners for my Senior year!"
On Dec. 4, in a pinned tweet, he thanked Kansas State and his retiring coach Bill Snyder in a lengthy statement that announced his intention to transfer.
