With another 100-yard rushing game, quarterback Kai Locksley (106 rushing yards) achieved a major milestone, but the question now is how much the 30-21 loss to UTSA Saturday night cost him.
With UTEP facing third-and-3 from its own 37 with 2:30 to play, Locksley kept the ball on a draw for his 24th and final carry of the night. It gained 2 yards to set up fourth-and-1 with 2:19 left, but Locksley limped off the field and was out of the game.
After an evaluation on the sideline, he was carted off to the locker room along with linebacker Dylan Parsee and Dana Dimel said afterward there wasn't word yet on Locksley's status moving forward.
