UTEP nose tackle Chris Richardson has been declared academically ineligible according to the El Paso Times.
The good news is Richardson will remain on the team, and practice throughout the season, possibly leaving the door open for a return.
UTEP’s released depth chart showed true freshman Trace Mascorro would start, and be backed up by Sky Logan and Mike Sota.
