Dana Dimel didn't bother to downplay what his team faces this Friday at Boise State, on the famous blue turf in prime time national television against the FBS's all-time win percentage leader.
This one is big, as is the opportunity UTEP has as a 27-point underdog.
"This would be a huge, huge signature win for us to get to the point where we could beat Boise, a national figure," Dimel said. "That's the reputation they have, they've had it for a long time. To beat them on the road would be gigantic."
