UTEP begins spring quarterback battle Wochit
The UTEP football team began its spring with a typically large number of questions to answer, and that was the only thing typical about this spring.
The Miners squeezed in six of their allotted 15 workouts before the coronavirus shutdown, which was enough practices to have them excited about the the final three weeks that never happened.
Some of what they were looking to accomplish, like sorting through their running backs and getting in more hitting and tackling, were not able to take shape. UTEP also couldn't do as much self-evaluation that would give it a leg up going into fall.
