The number one question for the UTEP football team this fall is, of course, whether it will play games.
The schedule states the Miners open Sept. 5 at home against Texas Tech and UTEP is selling tickets, but the status of every game is up in the air until Conference USA and the Big 12 (half of UTEP's non-conference schedule) decides how it will progress.
What seems likely is that, barring positive COVID-19 tests, the Miners will open a fall camp unlike any other on Aug. 7, but also one that has a familiar list of questions to address.
