The UTEP football team has matured and improved in many areas this season. Where the Miners wish they were more inexperienced is in dealing with the disappointment of a postponement.
For the third time in four weeks UTEP spent a Thursday practice getting ready for an opponent nine days down the road instead of two days, mentally shifting gears from Florida International to UTSA in a way no one has much precedent for.
The precedent, though, is quickly piling up as UTEP looks to regroup, refocus and lubricate themselves to ward off inevitable rust from not playing games.
